My Story

I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy a life filled with unforgettable experiences and connections. Born in Port Hueneme, CA, and raised between the beaches and mountains of Oxnard and Ventura, I grew up surrounded by beauty and adventure. California’s unique landscapes still hold a special place in my heart.

In 2001, I made the cross-country drive to Michigan, where I laid down the foundations of my career and family life. I was fortunate to work with iconic Michigan brands like Meijer and Amway, and it was there that I also found my love for photography. As a weekend warrior, I traveled all over, capturing weddings and connecting with a vibrant photography community. My time at Amway gave me even more opportunities to see the world, with travels across Southeast Asia and Europe.

In 2017, my life took a new turn when I met my wife, who inspired me to reignite my passion for cycling and focus on health. She’s been my rock through a journey of personal growth and well-being, driving me to pay it forward. When our kids flew the nest, we decided to make another big move—to the warmer climate of Folsom, CA where I can ride and train year around.

Now, alongside our two dogs, who live the best dog life imaginable, we spend our time hiking, exploring, and soaking in the natural beauty around Folsom and Sacramento County. Life continues to be a wonderful journey, and I’m grateful for every part of it.
