CHRIS PRITCHARD
Helping people do great things.
Technology, photography and health
Hello.
My name is Chris Pritchard
Several years ago, I learned some valuable wisdom, set a goal so high that you're always chasing it. Every step you make towards it, builds upon your pursuit of achievement.
I’ve gathered a lot of talents and skills over the years—and let’s be honest, they’re not much use just sitting in my head. My goal is to inspire, share, and help others do great things, just like I’ve been lucky enough to do.
This site is a glimpse into who I am: A career technologist, a professional photographer, and an athlete chasing big goals.
The Technologist
My journey to help others began in the early ’90s as a naval reserve firefighter. After a life-changing bicycle accident closed that path, I rediscovered my passion for art and design. Transitioning into graphic design led me into the digital space, where I have evolved over 25 years, moving from designer to developer, analyst, and now product manager.
This evolution has shaped me into a versatile problem-solver, helping companies create meaningful experiences and solutions. Versatility is what makes a great product manager.
The Photographer
My love for photography started in high school when I was enrolled in an Advanced Placement art class. The camera quickly became my tool to express emotions and tell stories. Over time, weddings became the perfect stage to capture raw beauty, love, and connection.
Mentoring other aspiring photographers has been an equally rewarding part of my journey. Hundreds of weekends spent behind the lens have allowed me to build a legacy in photography, impacting lives through the images I create. Every click is a reflection of the story, beauty, and emotion I see in the world.
The Athlete
In 2019, my health took a turn for the worse. At 255 pounds and struggling with alcohol and medications, I decided it was time for a change. I committed to treatment and set myself a challenging goal—to become a Master’s National Champion in cycling.
Four years later, with 75 pounds lost and a renewed sense of purpose, I made it to the National Championships. My journey isn’t over. My goal is to make it onto that podium, no matter how long it takes. The pursuit of this dream keeps me balanced, healthy, and focused on the next challenge.
